Upper Diagonal Hotel - Barcelona

Staying at Upper Diagonal felt comfortable due to the excellent cleanliness and spacious layout of my room. The bed provided great support. The air conditioning worked well initially but struggled during the day, especially when the sun hit the room was good. This was a downside, as I had to keep adjusting it. The hotel's location made accessing nearby attractions easy, but the local restaurant options needed improvement regarding hours of operation. The positives outweigh the negatives, especially with the restaurant's high-quality food and the fact that it's open all day. I appreciated having two complimentary bottles of water daily, a nice touch that kept me refreshed. Still, some issues with management communication left me feeling dissatisfied at times, particularly for the amount spent.

I truly enjoyed it and would definitely come back. Thank you very much all for a very nice stay on a business trip. The staff was extremely friendly and excellent and always helped me. The restaurant was very nice for a fair price, I tried delicious dishes. Lounge bar was good.

The room was perfectly cleaned every day, and I loved the spacious layout! I was impressed by the eco-friendly breakfast concept that personalized my meal selection, allowing me to get exactly what I wanted without any waste. The two complimentary bottles of water daily were such a thoughtful touch, helping keep me hydrated throughout my stay!

A great value with some quirks

The hotel was great with its friendly staff and clean, spacious rooms. Proximity to the metro made exploring Barcelona so easy and enjoyable.

The air conditioning struggled during the hotter parts of the day, made the room quite warm. I also noticed some noise from neighboring rooms that affected my sleep.

Staying for a conference was a pleasure, especially with the great restaurant-food was really really good! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Palau Reial. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-equipped. The breakfast was a great value, especially when shared.

Really good restaurant options

Our room faced the bar/restaurant. Lacking on-site parking forced us to use a nearby facility, inconvenient. Several guests reported problems with bugs in their rooms, definitely a concern.

The location was great, just a short walk to the metro. Breakfast options were delicious, with many healthy choices available.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

The iron and ironing board were useful. The air conditioning struggled in the heat. A tip , adjust the settings before you leave the room to keep it cool during hot days.

The location was perfect and allowed easy access to the metro. The Superior Double Room I stayed in was spacious, very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower provided nice hot water, and I enjoyed the high-quality breakfast options available.

There was no bidet in the bathroom.

The location of the hotel was good - at a medium distance from a massive stadium. It was a beautiful area, the right place for me. There were extremely comfy beds and a hair dryer, an additional bed, and an iron inside the room.

This place has a great location, with a big stadium just a short walk away, and our room was spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed, plus the street view was charming.

Had a nice meal at a cozy restaurant at a decent price. Appreciated the air conditioning, mini bar, and extra bed in the room. It was convenient being a short stroll from a bus stop-such a great spot to be in! 🌟
